| L-POS version 4 includes a great feature for stores that sell age-restricted products like alcohol and tobacco. The feature allows scanning ID cards that contain the customer birth date. L-POS will pass the data to the age verification prompt that occurs when an age restricted product is scanned. The flexible scanner interface allows a wide range of scanners to be used. This makes L-POS even more attractive for liquor stores, c-stores selling tobacco, or any other business that needs to perform age validation to meet with government regulations. | |

Of couse it will continue to work with Windows XP Professional edition and Windows PosReady 2009.
